How many languages do you speak? Inaugural Lecture of Professor Cat Davies

We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural lecture of Professor Cat Davies, Dean of Research Culture for the University, and Professor of Language Development within the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies.

The title of the lecture is ‘How many languages do you speak? Contributions of linguistics to psychology, language intervention, covid recovery, and early years education policy.’

This will be a hybrid event: the lecture will be given in person in the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre, on the University of Leeds campus, but colleagues are also able to attend the event online on Teams. To sign up to attend, whether in-person or online, please register via our Eventbrite page.
