History for Policy: Global Health Histories Podcasts

History for Policy: Global Health Histories Podcasts

Project overview

The proposed Global Health Histories podcast series would draw on Leeds’ medical historians’ expertise to provide a resource for global health planning and communication. The podcast themes have been developed through discussion with the WHO communications team and Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health. Each podcast would connect an historical case study to a current health problem, analysing complexities, challenges, and successes from the past. The series is designed to be integrated within training programmes within the WHO and health ministries. Our aim is to enhance partners’ ability to develop, advocate for and implement inclusive policy and projects.
