LAHRI Postdoctoral Visiting Fellows

Leeds Arts and Humanities Research Institute offers a limited number of Postdoctoral Visiting Fellowships each year.
Our non-stipendiary Postdoctoral Visiting Fellowship scheme is open to arts and humanities researchers who have recently completed a PhD at the University of Leeds. Visiting Fellows have access to the University’s Library, computing, and other digital resources and to workshops tailored to postdocs.
There are two rounds each year, with a start date of October and April. Visiting Fellowships last 6 months or 12 months.
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed their PhD in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures at the University of Leeds. For the next round (Spring 2027) the applicant's name must have appeared on a pass list between 1st August 2026 and 25th February 2027.
Applications for the Autumn 2026 round are now closed.
