If you are interested in poetry, energy and energy conservation this online event may be for you.

My name is Wei Zhou. I’m a research assistant at the Centre for Endangered Languages, Cultures and Ecosystems (CELCE) at Leeds. I’m co-organising a ‘Women and Energy Poetry Show’ held in the Goethe Zentrum in Kampala on 23 September from 6 to 7 pm (BST).  with collaborators in Uganda, namely Lonyo Arts Consortium and the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC). The online component of this event would be a fantastic opportunity for the UK and international audience to get to know some of the latest Ugandan poems with a clear focus on women’s rights and the use of clean and affordable energy. We’d appreciate it if you could attend the event and promote it to your networks, such as newsletters and mailing lists. The details are on the Eventbrite page attached here.
