Melanie has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Leeds Arts and Humanities Research Institute since September 2022.
Her research centres on landscape and place through painting: tracks, traces, folklore, and ancient monuments, aligned with contemporary concerns including access, biodiversity and land-management all sourced, witnessed and explored through walking, drawing, and painting.
