I have a master’s and a doctoral degree in forensic linguistics. Using corpus linguistics and conversation analysis, my PhD research focused on stance analysis in courtroom interactions. Currently, I am exploring the application of conversation analysis in examining instant messaging. I have also worked on three projects under the initiative "Computational Linguistics and Language Learning," which is funded by the UK government and based in the School of English.
